Transparency International Indonesia, an anti corruption NGO engaged in promoting transparency and accountability in public and private sector with focus on enabling environment for anti corruption through policy, legislations and regulation at the national and local level.
Background of the positions
Transparency International Indonesia (TII) will implement a multi year project funded by DANIDA to support strategic plans of Transparency International Indonesia for period from 2010 to 2013 under the component of Good Governance and Anti Corruption.
The objectives of this project are to improve Economic Governance Indicators and Business Climate through the reform of the business operating environment at the local level and implementation of good corporate governance, reduce corruption in targeted regions of Indonesia, and operates a sustainable, effective and efficiently manages growing organization.
To support this project, Transparency International Indonesia is looking for suitable candidates to fill the vacant positions available as follows:
1. Economic Governance Officer (1 position)
Job Descriptions:
Conduct desk studies and field research on the role of business sectors in corruption
Have to work as a team to develop a research design on business licensing process in Indonesia, best practice of business principle, and state capture corruption
Be responsible for data collecting process as well as analysis of the data and reporting
Have to organize activities to disseminate and socialize the result of research
Promote good corporate governance principles
Supervisor:
Be responsible to the Manager of Economic Governance Department.
Specific Requirement:
1. Minimum Bachelor degree on economy majoring in development studies
2. Have 2 years experience in research activities
3. Have experience on quantitative research, including statistical data analysis and reporting
4. Extensive knowledge on quantitative research method and statistical analysis
5. Able to demonstrate skills on statistical computer application (SPSS, stata, eview)
6. Able to demonstrate writing skills and shows past writing material (i.e. journals, column, academic writing)
2. Integrity Pact Program Officer (1 position)
Job Descriptions:
Plan, implement and monitor of activities related to the Integrity Pact
Coordinate with other department within secretariat office, organization partner (government, business and NGO, journalist, national/local parliament) field officer in relation to IP implementation.
Conduct administrative task and coordination related to the project
Do report writings including coordination with field offices regarding to the report
Supervisor:
Be responsible to the Manager of Procurement Reform Department
Specific Requirement:
1. Having knowledge on Anti Corruption Movement
2. Having integrity, strong commitment and motivation on anticorruption movement
3. Work experience in Good Governance and Anti Corruption issues
4. Working experience with Government Institution
5. Having NGO / activist background and experiences
6. Having Diplomatic / Communication skills
3. Public Policy Specialist (1 position)
Job Descriptions:
Drafting on Public Policy Concept (Public Budgeting, Public Procurement, Budget Analysis)
Plan, implement, and monitor of activities related to public service reform
Make policy analysis
Develop training modules on participatory budgeting, promote and do monitor and evaluation on IP in procurement, social audit & accountability
Supervisor:
Be responsible to the Manager of Procurement Reform Department
Specific Requirement:
1. Having knowledge on Anti Corruption movement
2. Having integrity, strong commitment and motivation on anticorruption movement
3. Working experience on Public Policy works and design
4. Having knowledge and capacity on Public Policy, Public Procurement, Public Participation, Participatory Budgeting, Budget Analysis, Design of Training Modules
5. Experiences 5 – 10 years
4. Contract & Field Liaison cq HR Officer (1 Position)
Job Descriptions:
To manage staff’s contract including but not exclusively on extension or termination contract Develop contract for third party, started from coordination to related party, development to finalization of the contract.
Conduct staff recruitment process, from publication, interview schedule to finalization of the accepted candidate
Act as a liaison to the management in the limited scope for stakeholders of the project in the terms of contract administration and employment
Filing and administrative work in related to the contract and employment.
Participate in sub activities in the designated project as ad-hoc task force
Supervisor:
Be responsible to the Manager of Administration and Finance Manager
Requirement:
1. Bachelor degree on Law or Management
2. Have analytical thinking
3. Have experience in the similar area for 3 years
4. Have experience in working on NGO is preferable
5. Communication and Website development officer
Job Descriptions:
Website development and maintenance
Database development and maintenance
Ability to develop website content and opinion
Analysis of media coverage
Supervisor:
Be responsible to the Manager of Anti Corruption Information Center
Requirement:
1. Strong computer skills
2. At least 3 years experience in journalism/communication
3. Ability to write in English
General Requirement for all positions:
Working knowledge of English (spoken & written)
Computer application (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Have analytical thinking
